This project consisted of creating a new modern interior in a loft style home. The main living area measures 12 x 8.5 meters and includes a new kitchen with island. The island has been rotated perpendicular to the wall cabinets to benefit the circulation and use of space. It is materialised in a different colour and texture from the wall cabinets to emphasis it as a unique piece of furniture around which can be entertained.

The wall cabinet includes a countertop, in line with the island, to store kitchen machines and acts as a visual continu- ation of the island. The doors are swing-slide allowing these to be concealed inside the cabinet when this area is accessed. The oven is similarly concealed in the lower cabinets.
